About Doctor
Dr. Nirmalya Ray is an experienced interventional neuroradiologist, having more than 9 years of experience. He has completed MD Radiodiagnosis and imaging from the premier institute Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Following that he pursued super specialization in Interventional Neuroradiology from the same prestigious institute Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and obtained a DM Neuroimaging and Interventional Neuroradiology qualification. He was awarded DNB Radiodiagnosis in 2018. Subsequently, Dr. Ray has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroradiology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, which is an apex center of neuro intervention in India for nearly 2 years. In addition, Dr. Ray has obtained European Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (EBIR), awarded by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) in 2021. Furthermore, he has been awarded with prestigious European Diploma in Ischemic Stroke Intervention (EDSI), by Awarded by European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT) in 2021. Dr. Ray has multiple publications in leading international and national journals and member of many national and international professional societies.
